A few weeks ago we decided to organise a mini beta test run, where our main objective was to allow a small group of our supporters to test the current beta version of the BABB App. We limited our invites only to those based in London as we just wanted to get the first impression of the App and at the same time, it would allow us to manage a more detailed one-to-one conversation.
The team had some insightful conversations with participants who wanted to find out more about the future of the BABB project. We have received some very encouraging feedback on our progress and how we will evolve in the future.
Everyone had the opportunity to download and test the BABB App directly on their phones, which allowed them to explore the functionalities such as paying in, making transfers, creating a campaign and making a donation, and then provide feedback from their experience.
During the one-to-one interviews, we explored the App’s usability to validate and test the design as well as functionality by observing each individual’s experience when using the app. The data will help us in refining and enhancing the practicality of the app before the official public release of the beta version.
The evening turned out to be an enjoyable one where we combined socialising with work, sharing some drinks as well as some snacks. We subsequently received tons of feedback from their testing experience with the BABB App, which we are very grateful for.
As we approach the date for the public release of the app, we will reach out to a larger group of testers to help us further improve our product design.
