For the last two weeks, we have been working closely with our in-house
alpha-testers, receiving feedback and implementing new additional features. One of those features, is the Google Authenticator, which generates highly encrypted access codes, creating an additional security layer (2fA). Another new feature that is worth mentioning is the campaign dashboard. The campaign dashboard incorporates our latest design principles resulting in visuals that allow the campaigners to track the progress of their fundraising project in real-time.
Campaign Dashboard
The Campaign dashboard is located under the user profile section. It displays detailed information about the campaign, the current status and how much funds have been raised for the campaign. Useful details include percentage raised, the days remaining, the number of withdrawals and the total balance. Additionally, users can view individual transactions for each campaign at the bottom of the Campaign dashboard.
Additional Security
Following feedback from our early testing rounds, our teams have decided to enhance the security features for our app. Additional security around the PIN hash has been implemented. We have also added the capability to enable
on-device biometric features, including iOS Face ID/Touch ID, Android Fingerprint which will be complementary to the PIN. As a new security feature, the Google Authenticator can be enabled and used during account login.
Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) Processes
It is important to perform all the necessary processes that will protect both the system and its users. The tools that BABB will be using allows advanced functionality and all transactions can be monitored on a real-time basis. The Compliance Department is now testing the automated, in-app, digital KYC customer journey, focusing on a frictionless onboarding process whilst verifying documentation, profiles for the most up to date financial regulations. Our blockchain intelligence and analysis providers are regarded to be the benchmark in our industry.
We believe that in our next release we will be able to enable more functionality, including further enhanced visuals, additional transaction logs for our back-office operations and add further features that will enhance security and transparency.
